KÍNA, INDONÉZIA ÉS VIETNAM - GEOPOLITIKAI ÖSSZEFÜGGÉSEK A 21. SZÁZADBAN
/CHINA, INDONESIA AND VIETNAM - GEOPOLITICAL CONNECTIONS IN THE 21ST CENTURY/

The Oriental Business and Innovation Center of Budapest Business University organized a Hungarian scientific conference for PhD students with the title "East Asia and the World in the 21st Century". The objective of the conference was to offer a forum for such PhD students and Hungarian researchers who specifically focus on the different - economic, political and cultural - perspectives of China's and the Southeast Asian region's development in our modern era, in order to share their results with the wider scientific audience. The evolution of economic and political relations between China, the other countries in the region and East-Central Europe was given special emphasis. The book below is the collection of submitted materials. The selection process took place within the framework of blind review and most of the works examine the different dimensions of the Chinese economic and politicial ascendance. While several of the included topics seem to be outside of the Hungarian interest, they might become relevant for the Hungarian political and economic decision makers in the long run.
